MUVA
Museography for a house transformed into a gamified museum
Ca n’Amat is a historical landmark in the city of Viladecans. It is within this iconic space that the new city museum, MUVA, comes to life. MUVA encapsulates the history of this house and its inhabitants, offering a journey through life in the Baix Llobregat town: from its earliest prehistoric traces to the most recent events in its contemporary history.
In collaboration with the archaeologists and documentarians at KuanUm!, we envisioned and designed the museographic project for MUVA. The museum’s approach aims to integrate new technologies, transforming it into a cutting-edge cultural dissemination space.
We created a narrative that intertwines history with play, featuring immersive rooms and a multi-player video game guided by the original inhabitants of the house. The goal is to encourage visitors to engage with the space, ensuring a unique experience with each museum visit.
