Fortuny. The observation of nature. The power of the gaze.
Colour and nature in the Fortuny 150th anniversary
To mark the Fortuny Year, Reus Museum commissioned us to design the graphic and exhibition elements for this show curated by Francesc Quílez, focused on the painter's relationship with nature. The exhibition brings together a carefully selected group of original artworks where this theme takes centre stage.
We developed a visual identity based on the colour palette of two central works. The greens, blues, and pinks taken from Fortuny's paintings permeate both the graphic communication and exhibition elements, giving colour a key role in the visitor's experience.
We complemented the visual proposal with an installation in the museum's entrance hall: suspended flowers create an immersive atmosphere that reinforces the exhibition's values and helps attract audiences not usually engaged with art shows.
