Unió Esportiva Santboiana 1921-2021
A journey through Spain’s first rugby club, celebrating a century dedicated to the practice, promotion and dissemination of the sport.
Our task was to translate the content of the centennial book of Unió Esportiva Santboiana into an exhibition format. The content primarily consists of photographs, which we thoughtfully structured into a mobile grid system.
Given the inclusion of historical pieces, we meticulously handled their installation and lighting to ensure proper conservation.
Specially crafted illustrations, infused with rugby elements, playfully connect the entire exhibition. The design employs flat colours for a minimalist and clean style inspired by rugby fields.
The exhibition traces the journey from the club’s foundation in 1921 to the present day, navigating through the Spanish Civil War, the establishment of the rugby school, the inclusion of women in the sport and more. It encapsulates a century of personal and collective triumph, earning international recognition for this remarkable team.
