Patufet

This publication, which includes an album, a yearbook and a book, collects the look and values that the school Patufet has tried to transmit throughout its 50 years of history. Patufet, founded in 1969, is a public school located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). It was born against Franco’s dictatorship and maintains a strong sense of civic responsibility to this day.

Challenge

Patufet wanted to compile its 50 years of history. The result had to be suitable for all ages: teachers, former students, students, and their families.

 

It had to be more than just a report. It was important that the publication captured the essence of the school, and the great importance of its foundational values: democracy and progressivism.

Solution

After evaluating the idea of making an exhibition, we eventually decided to create a publication. We relied on the concepts of photo albums and school yearbooks to collect all the information in a freer and more recreational way.

 

The photographs show bright colours to capture the lively and restless character of this constantly evolving school, leaving room for nostalgia.

The family game Mamuts is designed to discover the cultural heritage of Viladecans through this animal. The game is about solving the riddles on the map to find the hidden coloured mammoths.

Challenge

The Viladecans tourism department was seeking to stimulate the town centre’s appeal, as well as its businesses and its historical heritage. This vision fits with its recent rebranding and the new discourse of the city: sustainability, tradition and local businesses.

 

The way to do it was planted in the form of an interactive game, which had to include both the local public and tourism, increasingly relevant in Viladecans.

Solution

The logo is now a new symbol for the city. Thanks to the four maps that were created, one for each season of the year, families, both local and foreign, will continue playing the game, discovering the heritage of the city and its local businesses.

 

We developed the identity, designed the maps and created identification plates that were hidden around the city. A QR code allowed the user to obtain more information about the historic enclave. We also worked with KuanUm! on the documentation and game development.

A town’s cultural gamification

Woodstories

Identity design and art direction for Woodstories. From their studio based in Belgium, Woodstories produce high-end wooden floors, which they distribute world-wide. In their search for authentic and environmentally friendly materials, they specialize in sustainable French oak flooring, treated only with artisanal processes.

Challenge

The commission involved creating Woodstories’ own visual narrative in line with the brand’s luxury positioning. On the one hand, we needed to enhance the high quality of the product and, on the other, to link it with a certain lifestyle,closely related to the world of decoration.

Solution

We opted for a minimalist design, based on architectural lines and inspired by the classic Chevron floor arrangement. The colour scheme is soft, based on rosy and natural tones (brown, ochre and green). The result was a timeless, majestic and contemporary brand.

Challenge

Conveying the professionalism that this type of business requires was fundamental, without neglecting the humane, friendly, and close approach that Silvia adopted for her project. Her holistic view of pain includes a wide variety of disciplines.

Solution

We opted for a simple logo, which could be used on its own or combined with an illustration. The hands symbolise care and affection, and are a key feature in physiotherapy. The materials used are sustainable and are also part of Integra’s identity.

Escuela de voz Atenea Carter (Atenea Carter Vocal School)

The Atenea Carter Vocal School is a small training and coaching centre that focuses on the voice and the body with a comprehensive and holistic approach. Atenea’s vision for this project involved a timeless and fresh character, connected to the idea of well-being.

Challenge

The challenge was to provide personality and to create an identity design for a yet-to-be-inaugurated centre. To achieve this, we had to develop promotional materials and design the art direction of the materials that were later produced

Solution

We worked on the identity design of the school based on the concept of sound and the waves of the students’ voices. In the different applications, such as the promotional material, we gave the figure of Atenea the importance it deserves, since the school has an author’s signature.

Challenge

Carlos asked us to improve his brand projection, which implied working on his identity, and the user experience and design of his website.

 

Working with him we realized that, beyond the visual changes, it was necessary to rethink and reorganize the communication of his company to generate a solid discourse.

Solution

We started by performing a company and brand analysis with Carlos, to achieve clearer communication to his target audience through design and copywriting.

 

We created his corporate identity and the new website from scratch, taking into account the specific communication needs of his audience, always putting the users’ needs first.

Challenge

When Oscar entered the project, he had been working as a pension lawyer for a while. However, he considered that his brand was young and wanted to continue promoting a sense of familiarity. To convey the values of his project, Oscar asked us to turn his identity around and to create self-promotion materials.

Solution

We worked on a comprehensive brand based on Oscar’s freelance character. We wanted the result to be young, yet professional, and to appear trustworthy to his potential customers.
The result was a logo and its adaptations, which we delivered with a style guide, along with some applications such as business cards.

Challenge

The project arrived at a very early phase in which there was no identity or name. The client brief was simply its brand voice. They invited us to play freely, as long as we respected the values of the company: to make amusement accessible to everyone, with a rogue twist.

Solution

We came up with a brand name, and later, we developed the claim and brand voice. We worked on the logo, graphic design and identity, as well as the art direction of photography and social networks, always highlighting the fun, familiar and friendly tone of the company.
